HOPE Housing Residential Property Trust

About HOPE Housing

HOPE Housing provides institutional and wholesale investors with scalable access to the Australian residential property market through a proven co-investment model that supports essential workers including nurses, teachers, police, firefighters, and other frontline workers.

HOPE’s disciplined approach to asset selection and management enables investors to access financial returns from the residential property asset class, which exhibits low volatility and low correlation to other asset classes.

HOPE is a not-for-profit fund manager borne from the Pacific Equity Partners stables with a preeminent Advisory Board delivering measurable social impact alongside financial returns to investors.

HOPE Housing Residential Property Trust

The HOPE Housing Residential Property Trust (the Fund) offers investors access to the long-term capital growth potential of Australian residential property through a unique co-investment model that also delivers meaningful social impact. The Fund invests alongside essential services workers, helping them achieve home ownership while providing investors with exposure to a diversified portfolio of owner-occupied residential properties across Australia.

Focus on the residential, owner-occupier market

The Fund focuses on the owner-occupier market and seeks to participate in the long-term capital growth generated by high-quality homes selected through a disciplined investment and due diligence process. The Fund co-invests by providing equity contributions towards property purchases. In return, it receives a proportional share of future property value growth as the homeowner progressively buys out the Fund’s equity or when a home is sold or refinanced.

HOPE Housing believes Australia’s residential property market remains supported by long-term structural drivers, including population growth, housing supply constraints, demographic trends and generational wealth transfer. Through careful asset selection, geographic diversification and professional portfolio oversight, the Fund aims to capture these opportunities while building a portfolio designed for long-term performance.

What makes the fund different?

A core differentiator of the Fund is its social purpose. By helping essential workers such as nurses, teachers and police officers purchase homes closer to where they work, the Fund seeks to improve housing affordability, reduce commuting pressures and contribute to more resilient communities. This approach enables HOPE to deliver financial investment returns with measurable social impact.

Return objective

The Fund has a target return of 10% per annum (pre-tax, post fees). As with all investments, returns are not guaranteed and investors should consider the risks associated with property and illiquid assets.
